Jack's First Dip in the Pool

Some of the advantages of living in a small town include knowing your neighbors really well! Our neighbor just down the street has been wanting us to bring Jack to swim in her pool . . . so today was the big day! We packed up our towels and sunscreen and headed that way. Jack was excited at first but the closer we got to the water, the more nervous he became. For the first 10 minutes, he would not let go of me. He was like a monkey trying to climb over my shoulders to get away from the big scary pool.

As you can see, once the fear of the big pool was conquered, Jack had a blast!

Ruth's Birthday Party

Jack was invited to his very first birthday party last weekend. Ruth Albright just turned one and they had a "pool party" for a few babies. We started out on the quilt (Jack was a little unsure of the situation) and then they all took a dip in the pool. He liked that much better! The other babies are Cora, Reid, Chad, and Ruth. It was alot of fun for the babies and the parents!

Fun in the Sun

Jack played in the Lil' Squirt Pool for the first time this afternoon and he LOVED it! As you can tell by the pictures, he was intrigued by the squirts of water that were everywhere. We are going to have a fun summer!
