... And both babies are still asleep! It's going to be a good day.

Progress Report

This year's successes are either the result of more TLC from me or the
hours John and Daddy spent tilling the dirt on garden day. I have the
richest most beautiful soil in these beds ... And I can tell my plants
are happy. No singing required!

Fun in the backyard

Our neighbors are having some work done on their backyard drainage and
the dump truck and skid steer were calling Jack's name. After a close
investigation Jack decided we needed a skid steer we could scoop and
dump in our yard. He was more than happy to pose for a picture.

Radishes!

I didn't find out until today that I am apparently the only one in my
family that really likes radishes. Guess I better get busy!

Summer is here!

Well, the dreaded day finally arrived! I joined the pool yesterday and so it was time to try on my swimsuits. Is any female ever satisfied with how she looks in a bathing suit? I think not. So you can imagine how this morning went . . . but I kept my comments to myself and Jack and I kept right on talking about the red shoes he had found in my closet.

After about 5 minutes, Jack looked up at me and said "Mama, what's wrong?"

Oh Jack . . . so young and innocent. I guess he had sensed my increasing frustration although I was trying hard to hide it!

So he went over to my lotion I had out, brought it to me and said, "Will this help you?"

"No Jack . . . Sadly, it won't"

I think this would make a great Radio Flyer ad!

Happy Mother's Day

I love that my children are guinea pigs for Laine's photography
business! I get such wonderful pictures! Laine spent the weekend
with us and tried out some new shots as well as some of her favorites.
Here are just a few that she has already sent me. I'll post more as I
get them. Enjoy!
