Finding God in ordinary moments

6 AM on Saturday morning ... Changing Kate's diaper ... Opened the
blinds and this is what God had placed outside her window at just the
right moment!

If we look for Him throughout the day, He can be found. Even while changing a diaper!

May God show himself to you today in the midst of ordinary moments.

Salad anyone?

Sitting up and rolling over

Kate has almost got enough muscles to sit up and balance herself and
today she started rolling over on purpose. What a sweet girl!

The pool!

We've been to the pool twice now and jack, being my cautious child,
has warmed up slowly to the "big pool". Thank goodness our friend
Kayla went with us the first time because he wasn't letting go of
me ... And we weren't even off the steps yet! But with two arm bands
and a ring floatie keeping him afloat, he let Kayla take him all over
the pool! Every two minutes he would say "I'm swimming like a fish!".
On day two, he jumped into the water ... well, sort of ... He didn't
come close to going under. Baby steps!

Brother and Sister

Is there any doubt that these two are siblings?! We took a family
walk after dinner last night and had about 1/2 a mile of peace and
quiet. But being typical parents ... We talked about Jack and Kate
almost the whole time!
