Last day...

On our final day at the beach, the girls went to the outlet mall and
Jack and dad spent all day together at the beach. We played in the
sand, ate lunch under the tent, and listened to a little Jimmy
Buffett. Jack especially enjoyed the song "Cheeseburger in Paradise"
which he pronounced "Cheeburger in Pagadize". We spent the entire
late afternoon in the pool. He was so tired during dinner he could
hardly keep his eyes open. No nap today but he will sleep well
tongiht and on the long ride home tomorrow. Bye Bye Beach... See you
next summer.

Baby It's HOT Outside!

It has been a scorching month of August in Mississippi. We have had temperatures over 100 for several days now and the heat index has been about 115. The dog days of summer are upon us. Jack and Kate have been cooped up inside but occasionally we have been able to sit on the back porch with fans blowing. Kate enjoys sitting right in front of the box fan. What hair she does have was blowing in the wind like she was on a photo shoot. We have had a great summer but can't wait for the fall weather to get here.
