A hug for all my readers...

COLORS!

This week, Jack has learned several new words, including the words for the colors he has known for a while now. "Yellow" and "green" are the easiest to understand. "Red" and "Blue" take some interpretation still. We are loving his pronunciation for some of these words!

Megan is "Eggan"
Ball is "Baw"
Yellow is "Welwoa"
Green is "Geen"
Water is "Wawer"

"GO!" is still one of his favorites as well as "uh-oh" Anytime we get ready to go somewhere, I'll say "Jack are you ready to go?" and he says "GO!" and runs for the door. He went on his first bike ride last night on the back of John's bike. The whole time we were strapping him into the seat, he was screaming, but as soon as John took off down the street, he decided that it was really fun and kept saying "GO! GO! GO!"

the cookie dance, penguin waddle, and "ball"

We are starting to find out that Jack has a definite taste in music. He loves to dance, but only to certain songs. Several of his toys have three or four song options, but he has his favorite and will only dance to the one he likes the best. For example, he has an elf snowglobe that his great-grandparents Jo and Grandad gave him. He punches the button until his favorite song starts to play and then he squeals and starts dancing all around the room. He refuses to dance to the first song on the globe and changes it as quickly as possible.

This video is of his new car dance. He starts out slow and then as the music picks up, he starts going faster and faster.

"Head Down Survival Mode"

Sorry for the lack of posts! Jack has been getting his bottom molars in this week and we have been in "head down survival mode" as one friend puts it. But happy Jack returned yesterday and all is well again at the Frame household! We did manage to decorate a huge cardboard box John brought home from work and we spent about 10 minutes at the children's section of our library.
