Kate's first lesson from Big Brother

Jack taught Kate how to spin the wheels on her entertainer today. It
was so cute to watch him show her, then take her hand and do it with
her, then watch with great pleasure as she spun the wheels by herself.
So sweet!!

Garden Day 2010

It has been three weeks since we planted our garden and all of the plants seem to be thriving in their new home. Jack had a blast helping us and really enjoys checking on the progress each day. He goes around each bed and names all of the plants while watering them with his little green watering can. This year, I went for simple, sturdy plants that I have grown before. I think my chances of success will be greater that way! This is my favorite time in the life of my garden . . . things are just starting to bud and grow, the bugs haven't found my plants yet, and it is beautful weather to be working outside.

What Kate has been doing on potty training day

Kate is three months old today! So we celebrated by getting Jack's
entertainer down from the attic. She LOVES it!!

After trying all morning to get Jack (who was visibly terrified of his
potty) to go to the bathroom in his potty instead of in his big boy
underwear, he finally succeeded. His first words afterwards were said
with such relief on his face ... "That wasn't scary at all!". Bless
his little heart.

Potty training has begun!

The panda figured it out right away .... It looks like jack might take
a bit longer! Wish us luck!
