Potty Trainee and Potty Trainer Helper

What a week this has been! It is spring break here, the weather is absolutely beautiful, and the kids are home with me all week. Although you wouldn't normally think of spring break as a perfect time to potty train a two year old, it made sense in my head to tackle this milestone while there was nothing else going on. After a rough two days, Kate has caught on quickly and we are starting to make lots of progress. We are now at the end of day four and decided to celebrate with a trip to the ice cream store. The kids think it is a reward for them . . . really, it's a reward for me! I've worked my tail off this week! Potty training is hard work!! Kate has been a real trooper and you can tell she is trying her hardest to get it right. Jack has been a great helper to me and an even better cheerleader for Kate. Fingers crossed that the rest of the week continues to be successful!
